Contantine I, 307-337 AD
AE Follis
A fine style example from the earlier part of his reign, this
piece is essentially as struck, with typical slightly weaker
strike to the reverse design. Nice chocolate brown AU.
Sear (4th ed) 3868 (similar)
Obverse: IMP CONSTANTINVS AVG, Laur. bust right
Reverse: SOLI INVICTO COMITI, MSL in exergue; Sol standing left,
holding globe.
