XP - Rare Constantine I - FVNDAT PACIS

* Constantine Ist as Augustus 307-337 AD, AE Half
Follis, Rome Mint c. 313 AD, 16-17mm.
* Obv: IMP CONSTANTINVS PF AVG; bare headed, right
facing bust of Constantine.
* Rev: FVNDAT PACIS; Mars, helmeted, nude, advancing
right, looking left, trophy across left shoulder,
flying chlamys, dragging captive by the hair; RT in
exergue.
* RIC VII Rome #12 (R2), Unlisted in Sear and Van
Meter.
* Another rare and interesting type coin for the
Constantinian collector. Tough to find and this one
has a nice contrasting patina. Do have one of these
in your Constantine type collection?
This is a No Reserve auction. Money Order, Check or
PayPal are acceptable for payment. I charge $2 for
shipping. Foreign shipments will be made by Global
Priority for a fee of $5. Registered foreign shipment -
$8, unless you discuss other arrangements with me first.
