Nero (AD 54-68), AE Sestertius, c.AD 65, NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, laureate bust right, wearing aegis, rev Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, various shields around, S-C in field, ROMA in exergue, 28.12g (RIC 273; BMC 173). Some scratches and corrosion on the reverse, excellent portrait, good very fine.
